After getting a tooth filling, you should stay away from the hard, crunchy, or sticky meals for a minimum of two weeks. Limiting hot or cold beverages and meals may also help alleviate dental sensitivity. Even after getting a dental filling, you can go ahead and brush your teeth as usual.
